Referrals

Referrals & rebates

Clients' do not need a referral to see a psychologist at Positive Outcomes Psychology. However, if you wish to claim a Medicare rebate, you will need a referral and a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP. This may entitle you to claim Medicare on up to 10 sessions per calendar year.

You may also be eligible for a rebate through Private Health Insurance, depending on your health fund and level of cover. For more information on eligibility or claiming rebates, please contact us directly or visit our FAQ's.

We accept clients funded through:

  • NDIS

  • WorkCover QLD

  • EML NSW

  • QLD Police (EITP)

  • NSW Police (EML)

  • Insurance/CTP claims

  • Other third-party funding
